I went to bed thinking on this subject - and I am a tad bit confused
about what exactly you (Johanne) are asking for. If you are asking
just for us to chat here or if you are looking for people to submit
articles or such? I am not truly understanding the new TI format and
the different elements. I am most likely just slow on the uptake.

But, if we are talking about writing articles the thing I thought
about most last night was writing an article on "How to be a Good
Student". I teach fairly extensively and I can unequivocally say that
all of the worst experiences that I have had, either as a teacher or a
student, were a direct result of people being bad students.

Things like "Even if you think you know more than the teacher - keep
your trap shut. It isn't your class", "If you have a question wait
until the teacher acknowledges you to ask", "Most handouts are made at
the expense of the teacher - be gracious and thankful for whatever you
receive", "Class time is not time for socializing" "Class time is not
time for proving to others how much you know about a tangentially
related subject".....

I am still ordering my thoughts on the issue, and of course I would be
much more ... diplomatic ... than I have been here, but I think you
get the gist.

Is this the kind of thing you are looking for? How long/short would it
need to be?

Anyone else have any Dos/Dont's?
