actually, this recipe from the frontier woman's cookbook 
(or name similar) does not use butter, but real heavy 
cream instead.  it's flour, sugar, baking powder, cream, 
eggs and vanilla.  cake batter that you pour over the 
cobbler fruit.  really tasty.
