I have a challenge and a contest for the fine historical cooks of this list. Below, you will find
a list of old words that pertain to food, eating and drink and the dates that they appear in the
English language. Please send your answers/definitions to me privately at my e-mail address:
ahrenshav at yahoo dot com. The person with the most definitions correct will receive a $25 gift
card to Williams-Sonoma. This can be used at one of their stores or can be used on their website,
so everyone can enter. Please do NOT post your answers to the list. Anyone who does so will be
disqualified. You will have until Friday, April 18th to send me your entries. I will post the
winner on Sunday, April 20th and also post the answers then. Good Luck!
