I use the microwave.  seriously.  works GREAT.  I feed it to the kids for breakfast on average once a week. (based on the research that children who have hot breakfast do better in school than children who eat either cold breakfast foods or no breakfast at all - that is a topic for another time).
 
This might be unweildy for larger feasts.  I suppose one may make sufficient to fill a gallon ziplock bag and then freeze same.  Could be done well ahead of time.
