Someone in the production staff was really watching his previous work 
then.  "Essence of Emeril" was a good show where he really did some 
teaching -- without an audience.  "Emeril Live" is all about the 
showmanship.  Some people like that, not mostly on this list methinks.  
Maybe because we're still sore about his using Cariadoc's work without 
crediting him.  Yes, SCA people have memories for centuries.
