    Join us for a special Arts & Sciences meeting, a seminar run by Lady 
Patricia of the Tangled Wylds (Pat Auslander). An experienced cook, 
feast giver, and autocrat, Lady Patricia will journey from the North of 
our Fair Province to share her hard-won knowledge and skills.
    This seminar will give a different viewpoint and structure than the 
excellent presentation Baron Alexandre did for us this past fall, 
offering different insights and new ways of organizing a feast.

Seminar presentation – 11 am
Discussion - noon until 1 pm
Lunch and more discussion – 1 pm to 3pm

Directions:
By train: ‘F’ train to Ave N stop. Exit from the back of the train onto 
Ave M. Turn right and follow Ave M to East 4th St. (If you go past a 
large taxi repair shop and reach 59th St, you are going the wrong way.) 
0ATurn left on East 4th St (towards Ave L) to Friends’ Field. The Park 
House is in the middle of the park, on the left side of the street.
OR: Take the ‘Q’ train to the Ave M stop. Then take the B9 bus towards 
Shore Rd. Go across Ocean Parkway. Get off at East 4th St. Turn right 
onto East 4th St.
By Car:
 From the North: Take your best route to the BQE W (278) towards Staten 
Island/Verrazano Bridge. Just after the Bklyn Bridge, move into the 
left lane. Take the left hand exit onto the Prospect Expressway. 
Continue straight on the Prospect, which will become Ocean Parkway. 
Continue south on Ocean Parkway to Ave L. Turn right onto Ave L * which 
will dead end at East 4th St. Left onto East 4th St. Site is on the 
right, in the middle of the park.
 From Staten Island and points west: Verrazano Bridge. Exit onto Belt 
Parkway (278E) from left lane of bridge (towards JFK/Long island/Coney 
Island. Take Ocean Parkway North exit (#7N). ** Go north on Ocean 
Parkway (towards Manhattan) to Ave L (about 20 blocks.) Left onto Ave 
L. * follow from above
 From the East: Take your best route to Belt Parkway West. Exit at Ocean 
Parkway North (#7B). Take the service road (Shore Parkway) past Coney 
Island Hospital to Ocean Parkway (about .3 mi.) Right onto Ocean 
Parkway. ** follow from above
