I use the wheat and water starter pretty much exclusively right now. in fact, I just finished three doublebatches of yeast doughnut dough that was then turned into cinnamon rolls. For the count ... that makes 9 DOZEN cinnamon rolls yesterday. also made three pans of lemon raspberry bars (diabetic) and 8 dozen chocolate no-bake cookies.

after Meat Pie day is delivered, my youngest wants to make fruitcake. FRUITCAKE? yep, fruitcake. tomorrow if the weather continues to be gross I am making lefse. If the weather straightens up I am going to go the 186 miles needed to deliver Christmas presents to my older two children and their families.

there are a number of people who are NOT AT ALL INTERESTED in the weather clearing off. My mother's husband LOVES lefse. I usually make it for them every year.

Off to the kitchens again ....
