As I understand it, he has somehow managed to get himself a position
as an executive of the network. His position as one of those calling
the shots on what gets on the network is, in my opinion, a serious
conflict of interest.
I still snicker every time I recall him asking on one of the first
Iron Chef America episodes "why does everyone think I'm a jerk?"
I think a lot of us in the SCA (and a lot of non-celebrity chefs)
could cook circles around him.
