When I was 17, I won an award for "Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow".  Since I'd never taken home ec at school, the teacher was somewhat annoyed with me. I didn't want to take the test anyway, it seemed so sexiest that all the girls HAD to take it, and I didn't want to miss my drafting class.
