[Sca-cooks] Kneeling

Maybe the kneepads should just be handed out to all new peers or members of polling orders? I don't recall whether or not I knelt for my laureling, although I know I did for my Pel elevation. I had enough other things going through my head with the latter that it didn't much matter.
Now, *other* people's ceremonies are a different matter, especially if they're long, and even more especially if the Crown is doing multiple elevations at one court. It's not the getting down/up that's so bad for me (it's awkward, and un-pretty, but I can do it), as it is the actual kneeling. The incisions from my surgeries are *right there.*

Yup, it's true, Life in the SCA can be hard on the knees. If you wanna
kiss the sky, better learn how to kneel.

It's so nice here at The Rock this time of year...
