The only recipe I've got is for a chicken-barley soup from Aelfwyn back in 
February 2003 (you had originally specified barley as an ingredient).  We 
were sharing chicken-soup recipes, probably because of the weather, and 
there's no indication that this one is period, just peri-oid.  There was 
also a recipe for Kurnik, a Russian chicken pie.  I suspect neither of 
these is what you're looking for.
