Are you sure you're not a space alien?  :-)

We got our Pancake Puff pan at Bed Bath and Beyond.  It's the "as 
seen on TV" model, and yes their fancy pancake turners are just bamboo skewers.

It works quite well and we have it in our camp kitchen boxes.
