i grew up on it.  my father would make fried spam 
sammiches with french's mustard on white bread. spam 
sliced really thin.

he was a "volunteered" army cook in the phillipines during 
WWII, so i got some interesting likes and dislikes from 
him.   still adore SOS, but have you priced chipped beef 
lately?
