yes, wal-mart and albertsons still have those little 
'juice jars' in the section where you get dinty moore stew 
and canned chili and canned corned beef and such.

my father brought a recipe back from his stint in the army 
that mixed canned corned beef, a bit of onion, kidney 
beans and catsup.  the corned beef had pretty much all the 
seasoning your needed.

we ate it over boiled potatoes at home.  pretty good, 
really.  it was a staple during our motorcycle camping 
days, and even now when camping.  i used mashed tater mix 
instead of real taters.
