I have that 'Mom glare' down pretty well, but I'm better at 'Mom voice'. 
The one that the kids know is the 'she really means it and/or my a$$ is 
grass!' It's been known to stop large dogs in their tracks. I used it at 
Egils, when I handed the sunscreen so my son (who is strawberry blonde) 
and said "Put.It.On." Period, end of statement. He's 22, but he put the 
sunscreen on.
