Hmmmm... 
I don't think I would enjoy them with sour cream and a bit of salt, but I
*would* enjoy them with some good Greek yogurt (and perhaps a bit of honey
;-)  I think!

Sound great to me! I love fruit-and-tart dairy combinations.  I like to eat 
fresh fruit (peaches, strawberries, etc.) with a good greek yogurt, or with 
fresh yogurt cheese....nummmmy! So I imagine that they'd be good cooked (in 
the pirogy).
