I for one would love to take the train, but in Oklahoma you can only travel 
to the stops between Oklahoma City and Fort Worth.  If I wanted to go to 
California, I would spend the first day going from Norman to Fort Worth then 
back to Newton, Kansas.  I could probably cut the return trip short, by 
stepping off in Norman, but I'd still be out the money for the wasted round 
trip to Fort Worth.

There is some talk about adding rail service to Newton, which would be nice 
for visiting family in Wichita, but until it happens, we're stuck.
