Hmmm..but would liquor made from fruit juice be, properly, wine?

And as for drinks "going bad" before fermenting, I'm not sure that's true.
I tested a bottle of grenadine after this process, and, except for  slight
"kick" and alcohol smell, it still tasted like grenadine....and I didn't get
sick.

So, I'm thinking the preservatives might inhibit the "going bad" bacteria,
even more than yeast...
