No. At least, not in Artemisia.
High gas prices, yes. But not outsider-catered feasts, and not at that
price. My kingdom comprises some of the poorest states in the U.S. Even
the better off of us wouldn't be willing to pay that kind of price for food,
unless of a much less...pedestrian...menu.
Not that we're even close to being food snobs or gourmands, alas, no. We're
a bit too close to being a "Bubba Kingdom" for that. But the people most
likely to think of this menu as truly feast-worthy would probably be the
ones least likely to be able to afford. Especially families with kids. I
don't know that I've ever even seen, in all my years here, an adult feast
price set at $15....
