In addition to my team taking the best dish prize in our siege 
cook-off here in Calafia this weekend just passed, I was awarded a 
Serpent's Flame at court on Sunday. This award is given for 
excellency in arts, it's a Baronial award and mine was given to me 
for my cooking.

I was well pleased (and quite surprised) to have received it. (And 
I'm pretty certain I know who the responsible parties are who made 
the recommendations to the B & B, even though they won't reveal who they are).
