Good message Kiri,
I've been helping with GOTV here in my little burg of Bloomsburg PA.
Believe it or not, I've been doing kitchen duty, feeding the
voulunteers. Last night I asked one of the higher up female staff if
she had ever heard of 'ScotchEggs'. She replied with, 'You're a
SCAdian?'

Small world!

Tomorrow is one of the most important elections in our country in

States for the foreseeable future.

Over the time that the US has existed, many Americans have given their
lives, suffered incarceration and been mocked and scorned by others to
insure that we all have the privilege of voting.

A lot of people have the idea that voting doesn't matter, that their
individual votes don't really make a difference. Did you know that, in
the 2000 election, the election was won by George W. Bush by a little
over 500 votes in Florida? And other elections have been even closer.
So yes, your vote does count. And it should be important to you
because, by having voted, you have participated in the running of your
country. It could make it so that if you need to contact someone in
Congress or your state government, you can say, "I voted for you!!" and
that should carry weight.

So...please.

..vote tomorrow. I don't care, at this point, who you vote
for...I only care that you vote. Not only is the Federal election
important, but there are many state and local races that are at issue as
well. And don't just vote for something or someone because someone told
you to...look at the candidates and the issues...and make an informed
decision. It's really that important.
I now return you to your regularly scheduled conversations...and
apologize
if you receive this more than once!

Kiri
