Thank you for sharing the recipes.  I am interested in the word "prüe" which you translate as sauce.  Is there any chance that this could be related to the "pobrat" sauces mentioned in Rumpolt?  The sauces seem similar (sugar or honey, vinegar, raisins and spices)
