"Best Barbecue Chef in the Known World"?????  How bloody flipping non-period 
can they get with this?  There is no way in h-e-double toothpicks that such a 
competition belongs at an SCA event.
 
Now challenging those people who think they are good barbecue chefs to 
correctly manage a wood or charcoal fire to cook a completely period meal would be 
another matter.
