Greetings from a lurker!

I've read in several places, e.g. allaboutapples.com, that the
winter white peermain (spelling may be wrong; appologies) is from
around 1200 in England. I know that this doesn't help so much for
Al-Andalus, but I thought I'd put it out there.

Master Cariadoc, what do you think of your lady and caville blanc
apples? I'm tempted to buy some to use for Christmas treats.

Pax Christi,
Lady Cecilia de Cambrige
