We went to New Glarus but didn't visit the place you mentioned. We did eat
at a wonderful restaurant that served heavenly wienerschnitzel and pickled
red cabbage...and a wonderful potato creation, Rosti.

Unless my sense of direction completely deserted me...and I did just look it
up on Rand McNalley (
http://www.randmcnally.com/rmc/directions/dirGetMap.jsp?cmty=0)...it'sactually
southwest of Madison. Lots of great shopping there, along with a
marvelous bakery and a candy maker. However, the Swiss village was a major
disappointment.
