A KILOGRAM of cardamom? Sweet Mother! I use cardamom just about every  
day, in anything from savories to sweets, and still have to throw out  
at least half of a small jar periodically because that's all I've used  
up by the time the spice reaches its expiration date. With a whole  
kilogram, you could probably supply your kingdom's feast needs for  
about two years, if the pods are whole and unroasted.
