I'm not sure how much is in here on sweet wines in particular, but
perhaps worth a look.

I assume you are talking about wines themselves and not wine that has
had spices or sugar added to it? If so on the latter, there is also

Like other dishes, I'm not sure how well we can know just how sweet a
wine described as "sweet" was. Or did that just describe a good wine.
