[Sca-cooks] Seeking Cheesy Goodness in WI

We were just there and our friends took us to Brennans, a kind of Farmers
Market in Madison.  Absolutely wonderful selection of breads, cheeses, meats
and produce.  Our friends recommended the brick cheese as being one of the
best.  We also tried a leek and morel cheese that was to die for!  They also
had a twelve year old cheddar that ran about 15.00/lb.  Couldn't afford that
but would have loved to taste it!  Now I know that the folks at Brennans
don't make their own cheese, but they do purchase it from those who do...and
they get the best.

Also be sure to stop at Culver's and/or Michael's for some really yummy
frozen custard.  They appear to be all over the place in southern
Wisconsin.  And...if you can, stop by a Melting Pot for their wonderful
fondue.  One of their cheese fondues is made of wonderful Wisconsin cheeses.
