Our King tore his achilles tendon and had surgery shortly before 
Pennsic- he was forbidden any weight bearing- used crutches and for 
longer trips an electric scooter, tho at one point some gentles pulled 
him in a carriage.
I must say my legs are better toned than since I was a teen. After a day 
or two, I could walk up Cardiac hill without stopping.
