Personally, I prefer the individual emails to a digest when there is a great volume and I know I don't want to read them all. Scanning through a digest drives me crazy and it is hard to save a particular post into another folder. AND it is too easy to do a reply to a digest and NOT trim well.

Before reading any in my SCA-Cooks folder today (there were 5 pages of emails), I brought up a page, did a general flag to delete and then removed the flag for any ones with a topic I was interested in, then deleted the rest. I did this until I had just the ones I wanted to look at. If I find I want to see more responses than I kept, I can always go to the Deleted folder. Saves bunches of time as I only get online for 2 hours twice a week.

Any EGroup with volume is best handled at yahoo groups, since the display by thread lets me read all of them at once before going onto another thread. I wish I had this option for SCA-Cooks.

Any additional suggestions are always welcome!
