and yes, shoshonna is right, there has been quite the 
groundswell in the outlands against the 'crat' words.  one 
event went so far as to have a 'blame-o-crat', but i 
suspect that was humor, considering the person. 8) 
 however, no one should be beating  you about the head and 
shoulders regarding the use of the psuedo-word.

the english language has a number of perfectly good words 
for the head honcho in the kitchen  such as head cook or 
feast steward (tho my husband likes H.B.I.C. when 
referring to me - i don't know if i resemble that remark 
or not...)
