I think it could be done, depending on the venue and your geography. In the
Midrealm, we have a category in our Division 1 Performing Arts category
called Demonstrating Period Activities. It was originally created to
accommodate those wanting to demonstrate period combat techniques, but the
criteria can accommodate just about any "performance."

I for one think it's very interesting.
