[Sca-cooks] OT/OOP Who here was looking for liquid Splenda?

My junk email filter apparently caught something from an outfit called
Viva Low Carb, and I seem to recall having bought something from them
a few years ago (which might explain the junk e-mail).

Well, I seem to recall at one point you could buy liquid Splenda in
the US, and then you couldn't, and various other products became
available, usually Sucralose With Something Else Added, and I seem to
recall there being a certain amount of wailing and gnashing of teeth
over this state of affairs.

This stuff

appears to be almost pure Sucralose solution with a few preservatives,
sodium benzoate, citric acid, etc., added. One drop alleged to have
the sweetening power equivalent to two teaspoons of sugar...

What-EV-uh... I think I still have some actual liquid Splenda in the
house, which, used along with polydextrose from Honeyville Grain, is
the preferred sugar-free baking ingredient around here.

HTH somebody...
