I'm actually only cutting everything out right now because my blood sugar
levels are so out of control. I basically need to "detox" until my system's
back in balance.
Once my glucose levels are under control and I've established a healthy
nutritional program as a habit I'll feel comfortable adding whole grains back
into my diet, but I'm enough of a "carb addict" I want to stay way from the
refined flour and other refined carbs, as I grew up on everything deep fried
and non-nutritional grains... so it's just too easy to fall into bad habits if
I'm not strict with myself :)
Thanks for all the info! And for the suggestion on putting cucumbers on fish
kabobs :)
