Greetings!  You might know that this year is the 500th anniversary of 
Henry VIII's accession to the throne.  There are a number of short 
videos about Henry and life in Tudor times on the Hampton Court web 
site.  I posted the link (below) for the cookery videos, but new ones on 
Henry's life and times seem to have been added.  However, the only way 
I've found to access them is to go to:

http://www.hrp.org.uk/HamptonCourtPalace/WhatsOn/tudorcookery.aspx

and click on the link under "Live Tudor cookery" that says "Watch the 
cooks at work".  That takes you to five videos of cookery, but there are 
links to other videos such as seeing Katherine Parr be dressed for her 
wedding.  (Interesting to see that what one thinks is a whole garment is 
really just fake sleeves and a fake skirt!)  There is also a link to 13 
short videos about Henry - his death, sex and marriage, war, his 
itinerary, etc.  Videos range from 3-5 minutes long.  Enjoy!
