AND THEY CAN have THEM!

 

Not this mammal.  Worked sheep ranches as a kid (Mother loaned us out as 'hands' over the summer.  we made enough money to keep us in school clothes and shoes and she didn't have to feed us over the summer).  We missed all but the last of the lambing, worked through docking and sheering (which take place at the same time).  moved them to summer rotation where the Basque herders took over the sheep while the kids did the summer haying, (two cuttings) and generally got to help with the fall gather to shipping.

 

Had enough of sheep to make me never want to eat sheep again EVER.
