[Sca-cooks] Are you an herb or a spice?

Penzeys sells
Sesame Seed 2 varieties-White for breads and rolls and Black for  
Oriental cooking

Poppy Seed 2 varieties-Holland Blue is great for all baking and White  
is a staple in Indian cooking

so it's just not Spice islands.

Ian Hemphill includes both in his Sticks, seeds, pods,& leaves volume.
Tony Hill includes them in his volumes.
Jill Norman includes them in her DK volume.
