I should mention that one Society cookery website in the past few
years was
asked/forced to remove recipes from the Pynson volume. (DMCA does that.)
The microfilm and
and EEBO versions carry a very strongly worded ownership statement.
When the only copy in the world is held by one library, it can control
it.
There will be libraries that will own the facsimile and people who are
deeply interested
will be able to make trips to those libraries and use those copies.
It will be just like in the medieval period when people traveled to
see precious books.
