[Sca-cooks] IKA: Kingdom funding feast (was Minor rant Re: An Event Without a Feast, was Cookery book at Longleat House?)

In Atlantia, last time I checked, local groups were not reimbursed for
losses...which does make smaller groups think twice about doing a Kingdom
event. Also, the Kingdom does share in the profit...in fact, we went
through a major upset here when not only did the Kingdom increase its share
to half, but also told us we had to give them "x" amount of money from the
event or take a loss ourselves. So even if the group made $5 over what a
half share would have been, they would have had to give the Kingdom the full
amount of what the half share would have been had the estimated profit been
made. It was scary! Fortunately they backed off on that.
