I just had a mask fit test done- I'm an RN- pandemic stuff. Well they 
use several substances to detect if the mask is working- however, I 
failed to taste any of the three- seems it's rare, but does happen.  
There are people who taste soap when they eat fresh green 
cilantro/coriander.
