[Sca-cooks] a Medieval "vegan" potpie??

I'm not sure about pot pie, but in general if you're looking for vewgan recipes you could do worse than to check lenten recipes. A lot of them include fish, but those that don't often forgo eggs and dairy (as technically they *all* should). 

Some of my favourite lenten recipes are in the 'Description of Familiar Foods' published as part of 'Medieval Arab Cookery', but you can also find some good stuff in other sources. I can't recall any potpies, though.
