Three German authors have contributed to what was then called "Gastrosophie": Rumohr, Antonius Anthus (= G. Blumröder) and Baron Vaerst.


The "Vorlesungen über Esskunst" (1838; "Lectures on the art of eating") published under the pseudonym Antonius Anthus are now online here:
