You're correct, Your Grace.  However, I have seen pictures of Savory Toasted
Cheese being served in a chafing dish like what I have.  Though the recipe
may not be strictly in our period, at least I'm attempting to serve it in a
similar fashion to what it was at the time it was created.

Period or not, it's a dish that has become part of the SCA tradition, at
least in Atlantia.  It seemed to me that it was better to serve it at least
as it was when it was created originally.
