Same deal for us, buy a Mac and get a free (or nearly free after
rebate) iPod. I was mean and put my foot down, smiled and handed the
iPod to Ceandra, who was the one who didn't have one. Evil Spawn got
the Mac Book Pro and already had an iPod, and _then_ went and changed
his major, necessitating the purchase of gigantic scads of
photographic equipment and getting it shipped to him.
I don't care. After all that, he's not getting the bloody new iPod on
top of it; that would be adding insult to injury. I spent so much I
truly toyed with the idea, briefly, of getting a new, unscratched iPod
Touch for myself simply because the bottom-line total would not be
significantly different from the gross national product of Australia I
was already spending today. Oh, that $400 charge listed as "iPod"?
That's a typo, it should say "sales tax", honey.

bellies."
