You know, it's not very difficult to go south of Washington state and never leave the usa :).
 
And I was born and raised in Tampa Florida.  The Keys are my favorite place to be, I should have thought of it!  I have not seen them since I was a teenager, probably unrecognizable to me now.  And my husband has never been there.
