Vegetarians generally eat eggs, dairy products, and honey.

Vegans, on the other hand, eat none of these. Perhaps you were
thinking of vegans when you wrote your comment.

The light at the end of the tunnel!!! Thank you, thank you-  My children 
have not informed of the two kinds of vegetarians. I will talk to  them 
about it because they come home demanding I do not know what and it has 
caused grief, so thank you ever so much Lilinah. Perhaps you have solved 
a family problem here.
It appears here that Euroil  prepared one plate for one vegetarian. At 
my daughter's wedding we prepared for 50 and there were none.That 
totally ticked me off.

Euriol it was not my intension to tick you off which I obviously did. Granted I am not in your period but I still would have served pottage first, not last even as a sidedish. I supose that is my European upbringing as apposed to your American upbringing. We must even today present at least a first and second course.
