At those [prices I would but a 4X8 sheet of 2 inch pink foam at lowes use a
construction knife and cut it up to make my own cooler.  Simply segregating
you food by meal  and having it frozen you can keep a two week supply of
food good with dry ice and regular ice.But you bread and eggs fresh with a
couple of trips to the store.  Staples do not need to kept cold. Using some
extra insulation you can use a common ice chest to keep you food fresh.  If
you think about it what was done in peroid?  Cured meats, or fresh that
day.  baked goods that will keep fresk fruits and vegies.  We now have the
ability to can food,  So you can can your meat to use later.  Dried
legumes.  Stew with root vegitables.
