[Sca-cooks] Vegetarian recipe

I find this so surprising! There are so many Lenten dishes in medieval
European manuscripts and the Muslim and Hindu manuscripts I have seen are
full of vegetarian dishes. Many Lenten dishes include fish, but many don't.

Is it that you can't find vegetarian dishes at all, or you can't find any
that seem appealing?

I wasn't the originator of this question, but can I put my hand up and say
'me too!"  It is always a bit of a problem trying to find a period
alternative for vegetarians.
