But... they ARE a bunch of nutcases who run around whacking each other with sticks, aren't they? I mean, among other things? But yes, I agree there's a potential for bad publicity that should probably be avoided as much as possible.

I think the strong opinions issue is simply a gauge of the passion with which they will be presented. Think of the people who have become popular on FoodTV, etc. One of the qualities they all seem to share is the absence of a tendency to say, "Hmmm... well, I don't know... mayyyyybeeee..."

Discretion in decision-making is great policy, but often not very entertaining.
