As close as we can get,. probably. I know of no other culinary documents for people who spoke Turkic languages, and it#sunlikely there is any evidence for anything like a 'native Turk' cuisineexcept in the broadestof term (nomadic central Asian foods with luxury dishesinfluenced by Chinese and Persian styöles9. Ottoman cuisine is the cuisine of a Turkic-speaking multinational Empire whose capital, at least (if not its heartland) is located in today's Turkey. Influences are widely different, from Mediterranean greek to Persian, but it's as close as you're liable to get.
